I'm Saad, a fullstack engineer in Lahore. I've been shipping production software since 2021: first at Metadots, building marketplaces, AI healthcare tools and Web3 apps, and since 2024 at Waseela, on the platform that runs an agriculture business.
I like owning a feature from the database to the screen, and I think a lot about the person on the other end: a rider with a weak signal, an HR officer closing payroll, a friend waiting for a photo.
I use AI coding agents, mainly Claude Code and Cursor, every day. I review, test and take responsibility for everything they write. I also write the docs I'd want to find: handoff notes, setup guides and postmortems.

Fullstack Engineer, Waseela

- Build and maintain apps on Waseela OS, a large Frappe and ERPNext platform that field teams across Pakistan use every day: Vue 3 frontends and Python APIs on MariaDB.
- Set up the dairy home-delivery module and led its October 2026 release across the Flutter rider app and the backend: day close-out, prepaid deliveries with photo proof, per-day subscriptions and GPS-verified payable kilometres.
- One of two main developers on the HR app: geofenced check-in, automatic attendance, performance reviews and payroll settlement for leavers.
- Worked on the rice crop credit programme: rebuilt the case workspace field officers use on visits, and added an offline action queue for its field mode.
- Review code, monitor production with Sentry, and write postmortems when something breaks.
- Also contributed to the group's Dockerized Node.js and Next.js microservices platform and its Cypress regression suites.

- Main developer on fixTop, a home-services marketplace: Express, MongoDB and React, with Socket.io chat, Stripe payments and Twilio.
- Led the frontend of an AI telehealth platform: WebRTC video consultations, an AI chatbot and speech-to-text.
- Built Remedy+, a clinical assistant with GPT-4o, AssemblyAI transcription and automatic visit summaries for doctors.
- Core contributor on MediaProQuo, a creative gig marketplace: gig posts, proposals, dashboards, Stripe payments and Google and Facebook sign-in.
- Earlier, built Web3 apps: an NFT marketplace, DAO voting and token staking with Wagmi and WalletConnect.
