What it is
fixTop lets customers find a repair professional, chat with them and pay in the app. I was the main developer, from setting up the project through the core platform.
What I did
- Set up the project: Express API, MongoDB models, React client, routing and mailer.
- Built real-time chat between customers and professionals with Socket.io.
- Integrated Stripe payments, Twilio messaging and Google sign-in.
- Added an OpenAI integration and structured logging with Winston.
